Living on a rural property 25kms from the nearest town, sustainable living is a way of life. Growing up there were certain foods that we never brought from the supermarket, foods that as children we never ate. For example, tomato sauce, we never brought supermarket tomato sauce our sauce was always homemade, my friends would come to visit and wonder what they hell that was in their sauce (the tomato seeds).. Eggs, we always ate eggs from our own chickens, we even ate our own chickens, lamb, my Dad has always grown his own lamb and my family are all still fortune enough to be supplied with Dad's home grown lamb to this day. Fruit, apricots, apples, strawberries, raspberries, plums, cherries, lettuce, tomatoes, herbs, carrots, potatoes, pumpkin, spinach, peas, beans the list goes on and on.. Mum has mastered cooking skills, with an abundance of fresh home grown produce, always experimenting and trying new recipes. Mum has fed and nourished our family for the past 40 plus years, we are so excited that now she will be sharing her passion and her love this with you all.
